Human Rights Secretariat under the Administration of the Governmenthas commenced works related to the organization of the training process on human rights issues for the civil servants. During the process, the British Embassy in Georgia assists the Government of Georgia.With the support of the British Embassy, British experts on human rights John Kisan and Jonathan Cooper have visited Georgia.

Working meetings have been conducted at the Administration of Government. Aspects concerning organization of the training process on human rights issues for the civil servants were discussed. The meetings were attended by British experts, representatives of the Center for International Education, Human Rights Secretariat, the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), non-governmental organizations and the British Embassy.

At the same time, public discussions, concerning the human rights situation in Georgia and the training of civil servants were also held.

With the technical assistance of British experts, it is planned to develop training modules for public officials on human rights issues.
